A cordless vacuum battery is one of the most heavily stressed household battery types — it discharges at high current, runs at elevated temperatures and is often fully drained on every use. As a result, pack lifespan is relatively short: typically 2–3 years, after which run time drops noticeably and the vacuum starts to pulse or shut off even with a full indicator. We rebuild battery packs for Dyson V6, V7, V8, V10, V11, V12 and V15, Bosch Unlimited, Samsung Jet, Xiaomi G9/G10/G11, Philips SpeedPro, Electrolux Pure F9 and Rowenta X-Force. We open the pack, remove the worn Li-ion cells, solder in a fresh set with matched capacity and internal resistance, fit a new BMS board, pair the BMS to the pack and run a full charge-discharge test before handover. Results often exceed original factory capacity. All battery rebuild work carries a 6-month warranty covering both cells and the BMS board. Diagnostics are done on the spot — bring the vacuum or just the removed pack to our workshop.

Dyson and cordless vacuum battery cell chemistry explained
Cordless vacuums, especially Dyson models, use high-drain Li-ion cells capable of delivering large amounts of power in a short time. The Dyson V6 and V7 use a 21.6 V configuration with six cells in series (6S), while the latest V10, V11 and V15 use a seven-cell configuration (7S) with a total voltage of 25.2 V. These cells operate at high discharge currents — up to 20–25 A in max power mode — which accelerates their degradation.
The Bosch Unlimited series uses 18 V or 25.2 V configurations depending on the model, the Samsung Jet runs 21.6 V with six cells, and the Xiaomi G-series and Philips SpeedPro use 25.2 V. Regardless of brand or voltage, all of these batteries suffer from the same problem: after 300–500 full cycles at high current the cells lose a significant portion of their capacity. We rebuild such packs with latest-generation high-drain Li-ion cells that deliver both high capacity and the ability to withstand heavy discharge currents without excessive heating.

Bosch Unlimited 18 V batteries use a 5S configuration, while 25.2 V models use 7S. Samsung Jet packs are typically 6S at 21.6 V. Xiaomi G-series vacuums run on 25.2 V packs in a 7S layout. In every case we fully disassemble the pack, replace all cells with new high-drain Li-ion cells, fit a fresh BMS board, pair the BMS to the pack and run a complete charge-discharge test. This process ensures the rebuilt pack matches or exceeds the factory capacity. All work carries a 6-month warranty.
