Control-board repair makes sense when the equipment itself is still valuable, but the manufacturer board is unavailable or costs almost as much as a new assembly. At the SATER workshop we repair industrial controllers, control boards, power-supply boards, display modules, relay boards and electronics from pumps, compressors, heating, ventilation and production equipment. We check power rails, relays, optocouplers, regulators, MOSFET/IGBT stages, electrolytic capacitors, crystals, connectors, burnt traces and moisture damage. If a microcontroller firmware image is irreversibly lost and no copy exists, repair may not be possible; but very often the fault is in the surrounding circuitry: supply rail, relay output, sensor input, overheated driver or broken trace. Diagnostics starts with the exact symptom and equipment model, not blind parts swapping.

Common problems we fix
- Control module will not power on or trips protection immediately

Component diagnostics before parts replacement
In control-board repair we first measure supply voltages, shorts and load, then inspect output circuits and signal inputs. On many boards the main microcontroller is healthy, but the 5 V or 12 V rail is missing, a relay is burnt, an optocoupler no longer transfers the signal or one power transistor has failed. In those cases repair is far cheaper than a new module.
When a control board is not repairable
We also say the opposite honestly: if a locked processor with unique firmware is dead, a multilayer board has burnt through or the equipment is cheap enough that labour exceeds the price of a new part, we do not push the repair. The aim is to restore economically sensible modules, not to repair at any cost.
