Our story begins in workshop No. 2 of the Soviet-era "Elektrons" factory, and over the decades we have moved from repairing dot-matrix printers in the 1990s to servicing modern networked MFPs on laser and inkjet technology. We work across the full HP range: monochrome laser LaserJet Pro M404n and MFP M428fdw, colour Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479, inkjet OfficeJet Pro 9020 and 9025 for the office, and home-class DeskJet 2720, 2710 and 2320. HP LaserJet fuser and power supply repair
The fuser assembly is the hardest-working component in any HP laser printer, and most serious LaserJet failures start there. A fuser contains either a fuser film (on most office-class models) or a ceramic heating element, together with a rubber pressure roller. During printing, toner only adheres to paper after passing between the fuser film heated to 180–200°C and the pressure roller. When the film wears through or develops cracks, toner fails to fuse properly and the print comes out smeared, or the page emerges completely blank.
SATER repairs fusers at the component level: we replace the fuser film, pressure roller, thermistor, and ceramic heater element if it has broken down. We also check the power supply in parallel — high-voltage power transistors degrade over time and affect print quality. We replace bulging capacitors and restore power rails. After the repair the fuser runs like new, and the LaserJet continues printing for another 5–10 years. For popular models M404, M428 and M479 we normally stock the fuser film and pressure roller, so the repair typically completes in 2–3 working days.
HP OfficeJet and DeskJet ink system and mechanism repair
HP OfficeJet Pro and DeskJet inkjet printers differ architecturally from Epson EcoTank — rather than external tanks, HP delivers ink through cartridges, with the printhead built either into the cartridge itself (DeskJet) or fixed in the carriage using replaceable cartridges as ink sources (OfficeJet Pro 9020, 8025, 9010). Both designs have their own characteristic faults that we see regularly.
On OfficeJet Pro models, the most common problem is printhead dry-out after periods of inactivity. We ultrasonically clean the printhead, prime the ink lines, and check the damper and service pump. On DeskJet models, replacing the cartridge (which contains the printhead) solves the print quality issue, but we also repair the mechanics: seized carriage, damaged encoder strip, worn carriage belt, failed paper sensor. On MFP models we additionally repair the scanner module — scanner motor, belt and optical assembly. For HP OfficeJet Pro 9020/9025 and 8025 models most parts are on our shelf, including carriage motors and ribbon cables. All work carries a 3-month warranty.
