Nespresso Vertuo centrifusion mechanism and motor repair

The Nespresso Vertuo system uses the patented Centrifusion technology — the capsule is spun at up to 7 000 rpm, and centrifugal force combined with water pressure extracts the coffee. This technology differs from classic pump extraction and has its own specific failure points. The spinning motor can wear or lose power, causing the capsule not to spin or to spin too slowly — the coffee comes out weak and watery. The motor control board may fail due to voltage surges, triggering the blinking orange light and a complete shutdown.

Our technicians disassemble the Vertuo mechanism, inspect the motor, its control board, the barcode reader and the capsule locking mechanism. We replace worn components — motor carbon brushes, control board elements, capsule piercing needles and seal ring kits. After the repair we run a full functional test with several capsules to verify correct spinning speed, extraction quality and a tight seal. All repairs carry a 3-month warranty.

Nespresso Original line pump and thermoblock repair

Nespresso Original Line machines (CitiZ, Pixie, Essenza Mini, Lattissima) use the classic pump extraction method — a vibration pump (usually ULKA type) generates 19 bar of pressure to draw the coffee aroma through the capsule. Pump wear is the single most common Original Line fault: coffee flows slowly, tastes weak and lacks the characteristic crema. We replace the pump and verify pressure with a gauge.

The thermoblock heats water to the optimal brewing temperature (approximately 90–96 °C). The hardness of Riga's tap water promotes scale formation inside the thermoblock, narrowing channels and reducing heat transfer. The result is lukewarm or cold coffee, slow flow and, in severe cases, a complete blockage. We perform professional descaling or replace the thermoblock. In Lattissima models the milk channels and nozzle frequently clog — we clean them mechanically and replace the seals. Machines that will not power on after descaling are often stuck in service mode — we reset the control board and check the power circuit. All repairs carry a 3-month warranty.
