Typical faults on Deebot T, X and N series

On the T20, T30 and X1 Omni the most common issues are tied to the Auto-Empty base station — a worn suction turbine on the dock, faulty dust-bag detection and a clogged waste roller after picking up pet hair. On the N8 and N10 the TrueDetect cliff and obstacle sensors frequently get blocked by dust or residue, causing the robot to stop mid-cleaning or spin in place without starting a run.

Across every series we regularly see hair wrapping around the main brush gearbox shaft, wearing the bearing and jamming the drive. X1 and X2 models often suffer YIKO voice-module failures, while the T20 Omni and T30 Pro Omni frequently develop Ozmo mop lifting-mechanism faults — the mop fails to lift on carpets or stays stuck in the lowered position. We resolve all of these on-site at Silmaču 6.

Ecovacs Home app and OTA issues

After OTA firmware updates the Ecovacs Home app often disconnects from the robot, the saved map disappears, or the device no longer shows up in the device list. Older N8 and Ozmo models add another twist: they only support 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and refuse to join modern 5 GHz or combined home networks. We re-pair the robot, stabilise the connection and configure the correct band.

For battery rebuilds we use genuine SONY, MOLICEL, SAMSUNG and PANASONIC cells, spot-weld them in a fresh pack and reflash the BMS board so Ecovacs Home reports the charge level correctly. After assembly we run a full charge and discharge cycle to verify real-world capacity. Every rebuilt battery carries a 6-month warranty.
