Roborock error code decoder

Roborock error codes make it easy to narrow down what is wrong. Error 1 and Error 21 are the classic S6 and S7 fault — a worn LDS/LiDAR turret bearing, so the tower no longer spins smoothly. Error 2 means the bumper is stuck, Error 3 that a wheel is suspended in mid-air or jammed, and Error 5 and Error 6 appear when the main or side brush is blocked by hair and fibres.

Error 12 warns about a low battery and often points to worn-out cells, while Error 18 is a suction motor failure or a blocked airway. The newer Q Revo and S8 Pro Ultra dock stations have their own fault set — water pump failures, clogged valves and limescale deposits on level sensors. We verify every code during diagnostics at the service centre and explain exactly what needs to be replaced.

LiDAR turret rebuild and mop system repair

The two most common Roborock jobs are the LiDAR turret rebuild and the mop system repair. For the turret we open the tower, replace the worn bearing, reseat the laser module correctly and recalibrate navigation — after the job the robot maps rooms accurately again and moves without stalling. This repair is especially relevant on the S5, S6 and S7 series.

Mop module feed pumps and dock-station water pumps on the S7 MaxV Ultra, S8 Pro Ultra and Q Revo usually suffer from limescale and dry running. We descale the system, replace failed pumps, fit new O-ring seals and check for leaks. We also build extended-capacity batteries on SONY, MOLICEL, SAMSUNG or PANASONIC cells, with a 6-month battery warranty.
