Samsung Jet battery rebuilding
Samsung Jet cordless vacuums use high-energy Li-ion battery packs that lose a significant share of their capacity after two to three years of heavy use. An OEM replacement battery often costs EUR 100–150, which is a considerable expense. SATER offers an alternative — a complete battery rebuild.
During the rebuild we disassemble the original pack, desolder the worn cells and replace them with fresh, high-quality Li-ion cells from SONY, MOLICEL, SAMSUNG or PANASONIC. Equally important, we fit a new BMS (battery management system) that controls charging and discharging, temperature protection and cell balancing. A fresh BMS ensures the battery performs like a factory-new unit rather than simply having "new cells stuffed in" without proper management. The result is restored run time, safe operation and a 6-month warranty on our work. This approach saves up to 40 percent compared with buying an OEM battery.
Samsung Jet diagnostics and common failures
The Samsung Jet digital display shows error codes that help identify problems before a physical inspection. The most common scenarios are a flashing battery icon (the battery is not charging or is nearing end of life), a brush-blockage warning (hair and fibre build-up around the brush roller) and a filter-replacement indicator that sometimes lights up even after cleaning — caused by a sensor fault or a firmware glitch.
Charging-station problems are the second most frequent reason for a visit: the station may stop charging the battery after a power surge or because of contact corrosion. Trigger-mechanism faults are typical of the Jet 75 and Jet 60 models — the trigger fails to lock in the on position or becomes unresponsive, usually pointing to mechanical wear or a control-board fault.
