The Tefal and Rowenta X-Force Flex series use high-speed brushless motors with a cyclone separation system that delivers powerful suction and efficient dust-air separation. However, the cyclone cone is made of plastic that can crack after prolonged use — the result is reduced suction power and increased load on the motor.

The motor thermal fuse is a frequent X-Force Flex issue: if the filter is clogged or the air channel blocked, the motor overheats and the thermal fuse blows, cutting motor power completely. Many users assume the motor itself has failed, but in reality only the thermal fuse needs replacing and the root cause of overheating needs to be addressed. After two to three years of active use individual cells degrade unevenly, creating an imbalance that causes the BMS to lock out the battery — the vacuum either shuts off immediately after starting or will not turn on at all.

The SATER rebuild process involves fully disassembling the battery pack, testing each cell with laboratory equipment, replacing every element with new SONY, MOLICEL, SAMSUNG or PANASONIC cells and fitting a fresh BMS board as standard. We also check the entire charging system — wall dock contacts, the charging adapter and the charge circuit on the mainboard. Corroded wall-dock contacts are a common issue that can mimic a dead battery: the vacuum simply does not receive charging current.
